How do I charge?
To keep things simple, I charge per project, which means that the quote you’re provided with is all you will pay. No hidden extras, no extra charges. Just one affordable, fixed price based on your copywriting needs. (Just don't forget we need to add that pesky GST!)
Of course, if you'd like to work with me on a longer-term basis, I'm very happy to discuss an ongoing retainer fee with you.
What do I charge?
I'm going to be honest and let you know that I'm not cheap. But when it comes to high-quality, credible health information do you really want cheap?
My copywriter fee reflect my years of experience, and specialist skills - including knowledge of SEO, ability to conduct thorough evidence-based research, and ability to translate complex medical information (including medical research) into easy-to-understand copy.
Quite honestly, very few copywriters can do this.
If you needed brain surgery, you wouldn't visit a GP, or even a generalist surgeon. You'd look for a specialist who has done it before! So think of me as your 'brain surgeon for your business', and know that I've written clinically accurate, high-quality health copy before, so I know how to do it for you!
Because I charge per project, you won’t find an hourly rate listed on this website. Frustrating, right?
However, my copywriter fees are in line with Australian Industry Standards. Further information on copywriting fees in Australia can be found at The Clever Copywriting School.
But to give you an idea on where my prices are at, I've put together some web packages, so be sure to check them out.
What's included in my fee?
The fee I quote you will include:
- Briefing time on the phone or via Skype (length dependent upon project). Face-to-face meetings will incur an extra charge.
- All necessary research and reading for me to complete your project, including competitor research if required
- Two (2) rounds of revisions
A detailed proposal, and an obligation-free quote outlining the scope of the project, key deliverables and a timeline, will be provided after an initial chat.

What about payment?
50% of the quoted fee is required upfront, with the remaining balance due seven (7) days after the final invoice has been sent. The final invoice will be sent with the first draft of copy.
Preferred methods of payment are direct bank transfer and PayPal.
